In 2018 during a week long residency in Berlin over 150 musicians and artists met and began creating work together. This meeting of new and old friends culminated in a two day festival at Funkhaus Berlin with public performances across seven stages and a maze of studios in the former East German Republic radio and recording headquarters.

Where PEOPLE Festival (37d03d) differs from most is in it’s unconventional set up. It’s 100% ran by the artists, there is no line-up and no set times. Audience members don’t know what they are witnessing until the performance starts.

During the course of the residency Robyn worked with Jessica Dessner choreographing two pieces to be performed with Russangano Family and Dustin O’Halloran.

Robyn also sang in the Woman’s Choir alongside Lisa Hannigan, Kate Stables and tweleve other amazing women. The performance of ‘Saint Agatha’ written by Shara Nova and danced by Jessica Dessner can be seen here. A tribute to the patron saint of breast cancer.
